Mark Tomlinson, a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, founder and owner of Precision Prop Technology in Fort Lauderdale Florida has been in the marine industry for over 27 years. He began his career in the Annapolis Maryland area in 1990 as Vice President of Operations for eleven boatyards and their service centers up and down the Chesapeake Bay. This experience was invaluable as he learned every aspect of boat maintenance from an owner and a Marina standpoint.
In 1996, Mark traveled to Australia to study specifically propulsion. Upon his return he opened Precision Prop Technology and became a world-renowned expert on propellers. He works closely with Veem Propellers and has been a distributor for them since 2004.. His company sells, customizes and repairs propellers from all over the world. Mark has built a reputation of being able to solve propeller issues,, has impeccable integrity and making sure his customers are always happy with the service they receive from Precision Prop Technology. They have currently been in business for over 26 years.
In 2016, Mark formed Halo Iron Works which is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Halo’s mission is to bring the same customer service and integrity in selling and servicing the Veem Gyro. Mark believes the Veem Gyro will play an integral role in the yacht, commercial and military industry.
